Please be alert for children running and playing. Drive slowly and carefully as the Farm is a "Family-Friendly" zone. Be especially cautious during Pick-Your-Own Seasons when entire families are visiting the farm.
Also, please help us keep the place neat and clean, by placing any trash in the appropriate receptacles. Thanks so much.

We are open Monday - Saturday 8-6. Closed on Sunday.
Strawberry season is almost here.  Please check back with us for picking information in a few weeks.
Our strawberries are fresh, local and grown in a sustainable agricultural environment.
It's almost Strawberry Time at Critzer Family Farm! We will see you around the first week of April.
Please keep checking back with us for the start of the picking season and all our other produce offereings.
We will be open Monday through Saturday, 8am - 6pm. Come by and get yourself a good supply of these large succulent strawberries, you can pick your own, (a great family outing idea) or let us do the picking... we have lots of other fresh summer veggies and fruits for you, as well as an assortment of bedding plants, flowers and hanging baskets. (These make great gifts by the way...)

You don't want to miss our amazing home-made strawberry ice cream either!

We are not an organic farm, but we use a reduced pesticide program that focuses on the most healthy and delicious food for you and your family. We incorporate the use of compost, turkey litter and plowing under green matter to build our soils naturally. Although growing organic is a wonderful idea, it is nearly impossible to grow fruits and certain vegetables organically in Virginia with the high humidity we have. I certainly tip my hat to anyone who raises fruit organically in Virginia for more than 3 years.

We are across the road from Blue Mountain Brewery.
